I fell over this pattern, when I was searching for spring patterns on Ravelry. I was looking for a scarf that was easy to make, pretty and comes with a chart. Charts are simply a neccessity for me, else I don’t get the project done. I hate noodling around with written only instructions.

Yarn  The mauve scarflette: 1 skein Livorno from  Wilfert’s. 50 g – 1,76 ounces, 150 m – 164 yards. 54 % cotton, 32% viscose, 14 % linen, shade #206.

The blue scarflette: 2 skeins DROPS, Cotton Viscose, 54 % cotton, 46 % viscose, 50g, 110m – 1,76 ounces, 120 yards, shade  #12 Seaweed.

The yarns were worked double stranded and the finished scarflettes are very light and airy. The mauve color is muted and resembles rosewood, which was a very fashionable color a couple of years ago. The blue color  has a more vivid touch to it.

After finishing the pieces were wet blocked, so the flowers come out nicely.
