Lace Crochet Poncho
2 months ago my Navajo Stole was published in Inside Crochet, a UK based crochet magazine. I received a print issue of the magazine from the publisher and noticed a beautiful lace crochet poncho in it. The poncho has a very pretty lace pattern and looked very comfy on the model wearing it. I did some research and found a soft yarn, that had some stretch to it. Since the pattern only calls for 4 skeins, the poncho doesn’t fill up very much space and will be easy to be ‘transported’ in a small bag.
The pattern was a breeze to follow, since a crochet chart was provided for this pattern :-) I simply hate following written directions, when I want to crochet more complicated patterns.
The poncho has to be wet blocked, else the lace pattern will not come out very nice. I also really loved to work with this yarn: It feels very soft and smooth and the lace pattern comes out very nicely with this yarn. The color is perfect for winter and will look well with a pair of jeans and also look great with a white or black shirt underneath.
