Navajo Hairpin Lace Stole
This beautiful hairpin lace stole/shawl was just released in Inside Crochet’s August 2013 issue. I designed this piece last year and it is ideal as a summer crochet shawl: The shawl is very lacy and crocheted with a sport weight cotton/linen yarn. The construction goes like this: Hairpin lace strips are joined in 2 different ways to form the body part of the stole. Then one long outer strip is attached to the body and an edging is crocheted all the way round.
This is my first pattern published in a magazine and I am very proud of the result :-) What do you think?
