Cat’s Cradle by Doris Chan
I am a huge fan of crochet designer Doris Chan. She designs fabulous crochet garments and shawls. When I saw the Cat’s Cradle Lace Topper on Ravelry, I always wanted to make it. But the design is in a sold out magazine and doesn’t come with a chart. This design, Cat’s Cradle v.2, is very similar to the original but with more sizes and a crochet chart for the lace section. The pattern is great and the charts are super helpful. I crocheted with a size 6 mm hook, but should have chosen the recommended 5,5 mm. Since I made it as a poncho version and without sleeves it doesn’t have to fit perfectly tight to my body. With a black T shirt underneath this poncho is über cool :-))
This is not the last Cat’s Cradle in my wardrobe.
Hook 6 mm US: 10/J
Yarn 3 skeins Rowan, Wool Cotton. 50% wool, 50% cotton, 50g 113m/123 yards. Shade #980 Brolly.

Hi Ana,
I don’t speak any Spanish, but with the help of Google Translate I guess you want a Spanish version of this pattern. Please contact Doris Chan on her blog, if she is interested in investing in a translator for her pattern. I don’t own the copyright for this pattern.
I love this! Really like the open, lacy look and your color choice is fantastic for this piece. Just beautiful!
Thanks Marti :-)
I needed some color in my wardrobe and the yellow doesn’t look ‘too much’ over a black T-shirt.
