One of my addictions is drooling over other crochet designers blogs. In the coming weeks I want to share my favourite websites with you. The ones where you think: Geee, I admire this talented crafter!
Marianne S from Estonia is such a crafter. She learned to crochet, knit and sew from her mother and grandmother. On her blog Heegeldab, which means crochet in Estonian, she shares her stylish projects. You will find bracelets, scarves and for kids she has some adorable hairbands. The prettiest necklaces and brooches look stiffened by some technique and are adorned with something that looks like polymer clay to me. Besides crochet she also shares both romantic and expressive embroidery projects, – often in several blog posts where you follow her process with the embroidered project.
In her Etsy shop she sells both patterns and crocheted items.
Don’t miss out on her link to craftweerk.ee, where you find great projects from other fiber artists in Estonia. With a little help by Google Translate one can more or less figure out what the crafter wants to communicate.
